Friends in Veracruz

This last trip to Mexico was amazing! I got to meet and live with some very humble and socially conscious people. These folks have formed a group called Maiz Negro. They have learned the music, dance, and culture of Guinea, Africa and now give workshops on these cultural practices throughout Mexico. Check out some of their presentations on youtube.
